1. Best Mother’s Day ever (aka How to make me cry…)

My sons greeted me this morning with hand-made Mother’s Day cards filled
cute drawings. Jack gave me a kiss on the nose and presented me with his
card adorned with hearts and “I love you Mom” all over it. Precious. Jaden have me a hug, put his card face down on my bed, and asked me not to
look at it yet. He walked out saying, “talk to Jack for a few minutes” - he
had to get something. A few minutes later, he carefully walked in with a cup
of coffee and put it on my bedside table. “OK, now you can read my card.”

He had drawn of picture of me on the cover and inside, he wrote: “Mom, I love you. I love the color purple just like you. I love reading
books just like you. I love computers just like you. Thank you for
everything you do for us all by yourself. You have a big heart. You are so special. I love that I am like you. Love, Jaden”

When I put it down to give him hugs and kisses through my tears, he said,
“See? I put a big heart on the picture of you.” Then, the part that
completely made me melt: “I can’t do a lot for you yet, but I made you your
coffee. I’ve been watching how you make it and I can do it. Whenever you
need a cup of coffee, tell me. I don’t want you to make your own coffee
anymore, OK?” Best. Mother’s. Day. Ever.

*Oh, I would like to thank Keurig for making such easy-to-operate
    coffeemakers.
